+ chat, questions and networks

You will notice that chat has three sections (left to right):

  • Chat
  • Flagged
  • Questions

There are also Twitter and Facebook icons at the very left.

The host or moderator(s) can drag a comment or question from any of the columns onto the stage by clicking and dragging from the avatar.

The Chat column is public for all participants (guests, the moderator(s) and the host) as a default setting. Chat enables discussion during an open meeting without interfering with anyone who might also be speaking. 

The Flagged column is available to the host and moderators to mark off comments or questions of interest. This is local to each person, so what one person flags is only visible to that person. A comment or question appears in this middle column once the host or moderator clicks on the flag at the lower left side of the comment or question avatar. Remember that if you refresh your browser or leave the meeting and come back, the flagged items will not be saved.

The Questions column allows participants to ask post a question (or comment) that will display a notice to the host or moderator(s) for a question (or questions posted). A guest can't normally view other guests' questions, unless the host or a moderator drags it onto the stage.

Clicking on either the Twitter or Facebook icon allows participants to share the meeting link (or a custom link) on social media, Twitter or Facebook respectively.
