Asked To Install Screen Share Extension When Screen Share Extension Is Already Installed

This article refers to the Newrow Screen Share Extension for Google Chrome web browser. You do not need a web extension to share your screen on Firefox.

You Just Added The Extension In The Current Session

If you just installed the Newrow Screen Share Extension while remaining in your virtual classroom, then you should refresh your window (the one connected to the virtual classroom) by either clicking the refresh button next to the address bar or by holding down "CTRL + R" on your PC keyboard or "COMMAND + R" on your Mac.

  1. Click Tools
  2. Select Desktop Share
  3. Click the Install button
  4. Click Add To Chrome
  5. Click Add Extension in the Google Chrome confirmation pop-up
  6. Return to the virtual classroom
  7. Refresh your window

Incognito Mode

Browsing in incognito or privacy mode may block access to your installed Chrome Web Extensions such as as the Newrow Screen Share Extension.

To ensure you have full access to your added extensions, please try browsing in regular browsing mode.

Error With Chrome Browser Session

It is possible that when you launched the Chrome browser that an issue occurred with connecting to your Chrome extensions such as the Newrow Screen Share Extension.

Try quitting the Chrome browser and relaunching it.
